So sleepy
We kept Malia up way too late on Saturday night, she fell asleep on her favorite blanket right on the floor.

Ready for summer
I think Malia is tired of the snow and cold weather, yesterday she brought out her sunglasses and wore them around the house.

Snow, snow and more snow
Yes it is March, but you wouldn't know it from all the snow we've been getting lately.
Also: it was two years ago today that Jason and I found out we were going to have the Munchkin; I can't believe how much changes in two short years, we're loving every minute of her.
Harley girl
Malia found her "Harley Cutie" hat again, she looks so cute in hats, but only leaves them on for a minute.

Playing
This picture was taken this morning and Grandpa Ken's house. I'm so glad she is back to her normal activities.
Our weekend in the hospital
On Saturday morning Malia was acting really lethargic, and just like she wasn't feeling well so we took her to the dr. They did a blood test on her and her white blood cells were really high so we went to the ER and got admitted to the pediatric unit of Evergreen Hospital. We couldn't have asked for better care, the nurses were great. We hope to never go back to that department again, but we were treated very well during our stay. Turns out she has streptococcus pneumoniae, it's a blood infection, she had IV antibiotics and we brought some oral antibiotics home so that combo will get rid of the infection.
Our room in the pediatric department of the "hotel".
Her second IV, she pulled the first one out by getting tangled in the cords.
Playing with her new pink bunny from Grandma Vickie.

One of our nurses; they had to suit up to come in our room because we were in "quarantine" until they could figure out exactly what was wrong with her. She was distracted by Sesame Street, it's one of the few times she sat still all weekend.
Playing on the adjustable bed, this was great entertainment since she couldn't go any further than her crib or the bed because that was as far as her IV would reach, so adjusting it around made it a lot more fun.
Curious face:
Mad face:
Sad face:
Getting her IV out, she thought they were there to poke at her more, but was happy once she realized that they were actually helping her. It's so nice that she is able to run around and is happy again.
