Playing at the park

Yesterday Jason and I took Malia to the local park to play. It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to take her back a lot more this summer. I'm not really sure why she's not smiling in some of these, I must have only had the camera out for the serious moments.

Bumbo

Malia hasn't used her Bumbo chair since she was about 6 months old, but this weekend she brought it back out and sat in it for awhile.

Our weekend

Jason and I drove over to Montana to attend a friend's wedding and Malia stayed with Grandma Debi and Grandpa Ken. These pics were taken by Grandma Debi.

Harley baby

Malia and I went and had her picture taken for Jason for Father's Day, they turned out so cute! (He knows about them, we will be away for Father's Day so Malia gave them to him last weekend.)
Notice the temporary tattoo, it was the perfect touch to complete the biker girl look!

Fire dept visits school

Last Thursday the fire department visited Malia's school. She was a little scared of them when they put their equipment on, but afterwards they went out and got to go through the fire truck and ambulance. Each of the kids got a cool new hat and a bag of goodies, here she is at home wearing her new hat and looking through her bag. I will post more pics of the actual visit with the fire department soon.

Off to school

Malia looked so cute this morning in her new skirt that I had to take a picture of it.

Horse

Malia got to see a horse up close for the first time on Saturday with our friend Courtney. I don't really think she knew what to do with it, she wasn't really scared of it, but she wasn't into petting it either.
Meeting the horse and all the fresh air exhausted her so she took a nice long nap after we got home.

Drinking juice

Malia had cran-raspberry juice for the first time on Friday and I told her to keep it in the kitchen, so she sat right on the edge of the kitchen and the dining room.

18 month well child check-up

We took Malia in for her well child check-up yesterday. She is 25 pounds (56%) and 32 inches tall (62%). She is still right on track for where she should be as far as talking and her activities.

Pigtails!!!

It's been so hot lately that I was doing everything I can to cool Malia off, including putting pigtails in her hair, they looked so cute!
