Watching dad

Malia and I were playing in the back yard while Jason was mowing the front yard, Malia kept checking on him through the window in the door.

18 months old

Yesterday was Malia's 18 month birthday, it's hard to believe she's already a year and a half old.

Malia's summer pajamas have bees on them, they're kind of hard to see in this pic, but it's so cute to see this when we get her up in the morning. She sleeps like this everynight.

Doing Yoga

I have a new workout that includes yoga, this is Malia's imitation of my yoga routine. She's better at it than I am.

First knee scrape

We were walking to the mailbox on Friday and Malia took a little fall. Now that the weather is starting to warm up and we'll be outside a lot this is the first of many knee scrapes this summer. She points at it when anyone asks her where her new boo-boo is.

Jason was sitting against the wall and Malia scooted her way against the wall too.

Mowing the lawn

Well, technically they were still on the driveway here, but they were making their way over to the lawn.

Road trip

On Tuesday we took an unplanned road trip to Lake Chelan and back (wish we could have stayed).

On the farm...

While we were in Eastern Washington on Saturday we stopped at a produce stand/farm that we love. Malia had a lot of fun exploring it, except for the chickens that were chasing her around. Once they started feeding them she realized that they weren't so bad afterall.

Our day in Leavenworth

We took a day trip over to Leavenworth on Saturday-it's just east of the mountains from our house. It turned out to be a really nice day and we had a lot of fun!

Looking down the main street in Leavenworth:They just happened to be having their "Maifest" that weekend so there was a lot of music, activities for kids, and a parade that we stayed to see.

They also had Bernese Mountain dogs at this parade, those are my favorite dogs so of course we have a ton of pictures of them!

This had to hurt...

Malia got a new sweatshirt from Grandpa Ken yesterday. She put it over her head and then ran around the house. Unfortunately, the fun ended when she ran into the wall.

Daddy & Malia's day out

Yesterday Jason and Malia spent the day together, they had all kinds of fun-going to the Harley dealership, a sporting goods store, and Taco Time! Malia got to test out her first quad at the sporting goods store.

Malia's first trip to Seattle

Malia had never been to downtown Seattle before so Jason and I took her on Saturday afternoon. First we went to the aquarium and saw all kinds of neat sea life. After the aquarium we walked down to the ferry terminal and then back to Pike Place Market. Just as we were leaving the market the rain started coming in, it was really pretty to see it coming in over the water. All this fun wiped the munchkin right out.
