Fixin' the house up

Saturday Jason had to rearrange the garage and move his Harley outside for a few minutes, Malia got to sit on the Harley while it was running, she thought the noise and vibration was funny. "Lets go Dad"

Pancakes

We had pancakes for breakfast on Saturday morning, Malia had about one and a half huge pancakes.

On Friday night we went to the bowling alley for a friends birthday. Malia liked playing the games in the little arcade.

Eating with a spoon

We've been working on Malia eating with a spoon, usually she just throws it and eats with her hands, but for the last couple nights she has done really well with it.

Our new yard art arrived

Saturday afternoon while Jason and I were both out and Grandma Debi was watching Malia at our house the neighbor's van came crashing through the fence and stopped about 20 feet from our bedroom. Turns out the neighbor was working on it and it slipped into gear. Well the neighbor hurt his finger while chasing the van and ended up at the hospital for surgery, and since it's his responsibility to get the van out of our yard it will be there until he is well enough to come get it. Here is the new view from our bedroom window: And a side view from the deck:

Sleeping on the floor

Jason and Malia were so tired last night that they took a little nap on the floor before bed.

Back to the dr

Last night I took Malia back to the dr because she's still not feeling well. Turns out she has bronchitis and another ear infection. Here are some pics that I took while we were waiting for the dr. And this is the little Valentines puppy I got her for being such a good girl at the drs office and in the car on our drive home, which took us over an hour because of the other roads still being closed from the flooding (it's only 12 miles). You can tell in this picture that she's not feeling well, but she's back on Amoxicillin so she should be back up and running soon.

Playing with toys

Tonight Malia had a lot of fun playing with all of her toys. First she rode on her train: And then she played with her interactive horse:And she did this all while she was still holding on to her calculator-it's hard to see, but its in both pictures.

Mac & Cheese

Malia had mac & cheese for the first time last night, there isn't a better comfort food when you're getting over the flu (she's had it for about a week which is why there haven't been many updates, we will be seeing the dr tomorrow). She still doesn't use a spoon but she did really well with her fingers.
